JOB NATURE
This is a high-impact, field-based sales role focused on growing our presence in the New York City Metropolitan Area, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island. The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for building new business in the public sector—with a particular focus on public city hospitals
focused on employees within NYC Health + Hospitals.

This role requires a hands-on, self-starting individual who thrives in a performance-driven company. You will collaborate closely with leadership, clinical teams, and operations to ensure success in your territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities within public sector organizations, especially public city hospitals.
  • Expertise selling into large public healthcare systems, focused on employees within NYC Health + Hospitals.
  • Educate stakeholders—many of whom may be unfamiliar with healthcare purchasing—on the value of offering our treatment to their workforce.
  • Leverage your local network to create immediate sales traction and build market presence across the five boroughs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (clinical, executive, and operations) to overcome field-based logistical or operational challenges.
  • Submit weekly reports and pipeline updates to your manager, demonstrating accountability and performance transparency.
  • Remain active in the field 100% of the time—this is not a work-from-home position.
  • Represent Apos with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach, reflecting our mission to deliver innovative, non-invasive treatment options.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 3+ years of sales experience (healthcare or medical device sales a plus but not mandatory).
  • Proven track record of new business development and cold outreach—must have a true "hunter" mentality.
  • Experience selling into large public healthcare systems, specifically focused on employees within NYC Health + Hospitals.
  • Ability to engage in both clinical and non-clinical sales conversations effectively.
  • Strong familiarity with the New York City public sector landscape and ideally an existing network in the five boroughs.
  • Highly self-motivated, with strong follow-up discipline and execution across the sales process.
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic, growth-stage company environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Must be field-based and willing to work across the five boroughs on a daily basis.Top of FormBottom of Form

Work Environment
This role is an on-site, hands-on sales position that involves active client prospecting in the
field. While some remote work is possible, most of your time will be spent engaging with clients in person. Expect to visit various clients, clinics, and business associates as operational demands dictate. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to work extended hours and thrive in time-sensitive situations to meet strict deadlines. Apos is a fast-paced, and growing organization, where adaptability, urgency, and ownership are highly valued. There is no traditional office in the region – administrative tasks, follow-ups, and reporting will be done remotely (from home) when not in the field. Regular travel by car is necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
