Job Nature

We are seeking a strategic, motivated Union Health Partnerships Manager to lead engagement with union health & welfare funds, TPAs, and labor benefit stakeholders. This role blends consultative sales, benefit integration, and partnership development to position our musculoskeletal device as a covered health benefit. Ideal candidate has 5+ years in union benefits, healthcare partnerships, or payer sales, with a proven track record of product adoption. Strong communicator, self-starter, and team player. 80% travel required across East Coast union markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own full sales cycle: identify, present, close opportunities with union health decision-makers.
  • Build relationships with health & welfare fund admins, union trustees, TPAs, and labor-friendly payers.
  • Develop clinical and financial ROI cases tailored to union needs.
  • Drive inclusion of device as covered benefit, carve-out, or pilot program.
  • Collaborate on pilot programs with internal teams.
  • Track outreach and pipeline using CRM.
  • Act as union-market expert, shaping internal strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in union benefits consulting, healthcare partnerships, or payer/provider sales.
  • Proven success in getting products adopted by union health plans.
  • Deep knowledge of union benefits structures, Taft-Hartley funds, and TPA/payer processes.
  • Strong communication skills for clinical and non-clinical audiences.
  • Understanding of utilization management, value-based care, and chronic care.
  • Self-starter with hunter mentality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in MSK, physical therapy, digital health, or DME.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management & Labor, Public Health, or Healthcare Admin.
  • CEBS certification or experience with union consulting firms (e.g., Segal, Aon).
  • Former union reps, TPA staff, or payer reps with labor-focused portfolios.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced, field-forward role with 80% travel across key East Coast union markets. While flexible work arrangements are available, the position demands frequent in-person meetings, site visits, and attendance at union events. Collaboration with internal teams is primarily remote, with occasional onsite work. The role is dynamic, high-impact, and mission-driven.

Compensation
  • Base salary + commission
  • Base salary: $100-$125K
  • Annual commission based on performance (OTE $175,000-$250,000+)

We offer a competitive salary, 401(k), health, vision, and dental insurance, PTO, floating holidays, and sick time—all within a supportive, high-performing environment. Work alongside brilliant, driven professionals committed to helping patients return to the activities they love. Here, performance is recognized and rewarded—when you excel, it’s noticed.
