Apos Physical Therapist is responsible for providing in person and remote physical therapy evaluations to patients who have knee, back, or hip pain and custom fitting the Apos FDA-cleared device to reduce pain and improve function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of current and classic concepts of gait biomechanics in relation to physical rehabilitation and utilization of the Apos® Device.
- Performs physical therapy evaluations, on-going re-assessment and tracks patient progress through in-person and/or telehealth models of care.
- Assesses, directs, and implements suitable interventions for selected patients in the field of physical rehabilitation.
- Demonstrates effective clinical decision making and implements changes to plan of care when appropriate.
- Provides ongoing support, training and clinical education for business partners, customers, clinicians, and staff members.
- Maintains complete and accurate patient records in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Safeguards patient privacy and confidentiality by following guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security Rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA)
Required skills and abilities.- Work flexible hours, including weekends and late shifts.
- Travel out of state (NY, PA, DE, MA)
- Knowledge of technology necessary for telemedicine (audio and video set up).
- Excellent communicational, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion when communicating with patients
General Requirements: - Active State license.
- 3-5 minimum years’ experience as a Physical Therapist.
- At least 2 years of outpatient experience
- CPR/BLS certification
- Driver’s license, ability to travel and flexibility with scheduling
- Access to broadband coverage.
